![]() Treat Your Crown as You Would Your Regular TeethYour crown is designed to operate just like your natural teeth. This means you need to give it the same care as you would your normal teeth. Avoid doing things such as crunching on ice, using your teeth to open bottles, and other similar things. Remember, if something can damage your natural teeth, there is a good chance that it can damage your crown, too. Also, be sure that you follow a good oral hygiene routine with your crown. Just as you need to brush your teeth regularly and floss every day with your natural teeth, so too should you do these things with the crown. This will help keep your surrounding teeth and gums in good shape, too. Feel Free to Ask Us QuestionsAdjusting to having a crown can be a little bit of a challenge if you don't know what to expect. This is why we always encourage our patients to let us know if they have any questions. We want you to know that we are always here, and any time you have a question about your crown (or any other matter related to your dental health) we are happy to talk with you.So give us a call, or send us an email, or drop by for an office visit. We're happy to sit down with you, listen to your questions, and help educate you about your new crown. |
