Dr. Goichi Shiotsu

After graduating cum laude from the University of California at Irvine, Dr. Shiotsu earned his dental from the University of California at San Francisco, the #2 ranked dental school in the nation. While there, he was awarded the Regents' Scholarship for high academic achievement.

Following dental school, Dr. Shiotsu stayed in San Francisco where he completed a two-year postgraduate program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry maintaining a special emphasis in Hospital Dentisry, Geriatric Dentistry, and Clinical Teaching.

Upon completion, Dr. Shiotsu moved to Southern California where he completed two separate postgraduate programs in Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at Loma Linda University.

Dr. Shiotsu is a highly respected dentist by his colleagues, who often refer their patients to him to help resolve complex and challenging dental situations. He is one of a handful of dentists in the U.S. to receive certified university-based specialty training in both the surgical and restorative aspect of implant dentistry. He is a national lecturer and an author, often asked to speak on the topic of implants and aesthetic dentistry. He has over ten years of experience in implant dentistry. He is a member of the prestigeous Academy of Osseointegration, American college of Prosthodontists, and Washington State Society of Prosthodontists. He is also a member of Washington State Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is actively involved in continuing education both presenting and attending study club meetings, and taking courses and seminars to maintain his state-of-the-art knowledge. Dr. Shiotsu believes that education is a lifelong endeavor. He is passionate about Implant Dentistry because he has seen many lives transformed from enhanced function and confidence.

Dr. Edward Truelove (Program Director, Post raduate program in Oral Medicine niversity of Washington) - meets monthly. Literature review of medical, dental and nutritional journals to gain the latest information that can help our patients with their overall health (not limited to their dental health).
